The Brangus Australia regulations state –

The name including prefix and including any numeral forming part of the name
shall not exceed thirty (30) characters.

These regulations have been in place for several years however the programming was not correctly checking this.
The programming has now been updated and will no longer allow animals to be registered or recorded if the name exceeds. This correction will not affect animals already recorded on the database.

Please keep this regulation in mind when naming animals and submitting registrations.
